Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church located in Indian Hill is currently hiring for the positions of Facilities Manager and Custodial Services Assistant (descriptions listed below).

Position: Facilities Manager

Classification: Approximately 20 hours per week, part time, hourly

Armstrong Chapel is looking for a part-time Facilities Manager to ensure that the physical buildings and grounds of the Church are clean, in good repair, and properly set up for scheduled events.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

-Positive attitude of cooperation, patience and service
-Sense of personal responsibility
-Character and conduct compatible with Christian faith
-Understanding that the purpose of the work is to enhance the ministries
-Self-motivation and be self-directed to complete required and anticipated tasks
-Ability to manage the custodial team, including paid and volunteer staff and outsourced services
-Ability to work closely and cooperatively with staff, Trustees, and congregation members
-Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of all physical plant systems, including and not limited to: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping, Audio/visual/computer

We want an individual who genuinely likes people and has great relationship skills. Must be able to work independently, quickly and accurately.


Position: Custodial Services Assistant

Classification: Approximately 20 hours per week, part time, hourly

Armstrong Chapel is looking for a part-time Custodial Services Assistant to ensure that the Church buildings are clean, well-maintained and properly set up for scheduled events.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

-Positive attitude of cooperation, patience and service
-Sense of personal responsibility
-Character and conduct compatible with Christian faith
-A self-starter, but can take direction to complete required tasks
-Ability to work with the custodial team, including paid and volunteer staff and outsourced services
-Ability to work closely and cooperatively with staff, Trustees, and congregation members
