Soul Training: Strengthened by the Word – Kathleen Kisner
One of the first things we learn as Christians is to regularly read the Bible. Yet, sometimes it is hard to know how to get the most out of this spiritual practice. This workshop explores changing our mindset while reading along. It will also give practical ways to read scripture and leave us open to the transforming power of God.

Caring for You: Yoga is offered in the morning and Pilates in the afternoon.

Holy Yoga (AM Only) – Leslie Pennell. Holy Yoga was developed specifically for the purpose of increasing health –mind, body, and spirit – while consciously seeking a deeper relationship with the      Lord Jesus Christ. Experience the holistic benefits of breath work, asanas or physical postures and meditation on the Lord’s word in this gentle practice. No yoga experience required

Pilates (PM Only) – Colby Chapman has been teaching Pilates for almost 20 years! What is it? Come and find out at the Women's Conference! Two members of Armstrong Chapel will be                        demonstrating Pilates movements with Colby. You will learn simple techniques to lengthen and strengthen yourself and improve your posture.  Do you want to make a change?
(If you attended Colby's session last year, it will be different this year.)

Finding Your Strength through the Wisdom of the Ages – Diane Kinsella
As it turns out, the ancients knew far more than we have given them credit for in the past. What we're discovering today is that they were truly on the right path toward healing and using their strengths. Through this, we will learn about and practice some incredibly simple yet effective techniques to support our own sense of well-being and strength. We will learn about Polarity, Pal Dan Gum, Head-Neck-Shoulder Release [a technique you can use on yourself that works like a massage!], among others, and we'll conclude with a Hand Massage. Come prepared to take away your new, personal tool kit for self-care so that you may show up in the world as the strongest, God-honoring, best version of yourself!

Saying Yes to God’s Healing Touch – Judy Bowers
Judy Bowers, a registered nurse and University of Cincinnati nursing school instructor from Terrace Park, felt God was calling her to learn Healing Touch, an energy therapy said to promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. But as a professional rooted in traditional medicine, she initially turned a deaf ear to the call. At Armstrong’s Empowered Event, Judy will share the remarkable – even miraculous – experiences surgeons, patients and many others have had since she said yes to delivering God’s healing touch nearly 15 years ago.

You Gotta Friend?—Jill Croswell, What is a healthy relationship and how does God use them to strengthen us.

The Best Yes for Mom's -  Melanie Stearns (AM Only)
Based on the themes in Lysa Terkeurst's best selling book, The Best Yes, Melanie will share how these themes impact busy mom's.

Step Out Bravely - Mary Geisen
Join me as we learn together that brave faith is for all of us no matter what stage of life, calling or how God wired us. Let’s learn to step out bravely and in the process know we are not alone in this journey.

During lunch, representatives from Dress For Success and Porta Luca, the DFS store, will present a fashion show.  Clothes will be available for purchase afterwards with proceeds benefitting Dress for Success.
