The Mariemont Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, who meet at Armstrong Chapel, is a commemorative partner with The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration in commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. One of the purposes of this Commemoration is:
“To thank and honor veterans of the Vietnam War…for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the United States and to thank and honor the families of these veterans…”
DAR is looking for Vietnam veterans to receive a special Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin at their program on Saturday, November 18. There will be nothing that guests have to say or do. This is a special time to honor them for service to our country. The guidelines are as follows:
  • Pins are awarded to veterans who served in active duty during the Vietnam Era which is November 1, 1955, through May 15, 1975.
  • You do not have to have served in the country of Vietnam.
  • One pin is awarded to each veteran. If you have already received a lapel pin, you are not eligible to receive another pin.
Please contact Miriam Lillback no later than September 1. (
