Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is a delightful group that adds beauty to our 9:40 worship hour. Led by the talented Ben Basone and accompanied by Stacy Haney on the organ and piano, the choir gathers on Thursday evenings at 7:30 from September through May to harmonize and prepare for their performances. Although they showcase soloists and special music in the summer, they come together for special concert performances of larger works throughout the year. Their dedication and passion shine through each note they sing, making every service a truly uplifting experience.

Handbell Choir

Handbells have been a cherished part of Christian worship for centuries, weaving their melodious magic into the tapestry of the church's musical tradition. The unique sound of handbells is unparalleled, evoking a sense of wonder and transcendence that perfectly complements special occasions like Christmas and Easter. Beyond creating beautiful music, a bell choir symbolizes the unity and diversity within the church, much like the diverse members of Christ's body. Each individual in a handbell ensemble plays a crucial role, contributing specific notes that blend together harmoniously - highlighting how every individual's contribution, no matter how small, is essential to the greater whole.

At Armstrong, our Handbell Choir showcases the harmonious sounds of five octaves of Schulmerich handbells during the 9:40 worship hour throughout the traditional school year. Share in this enchanting musical journey! We are currently seeking ringers and substitute ringers to be part of our magical music experience. If you're eager to be a part of this harmonious adventure, don't hesitate to contact our dedicated Director, Chester, for further details. Your enthusiasm and talent are warmly welcomed.

We look forward to making beautiful music together!
