On-site Service

There are many opportunities to serve within the walls of the church itself.  Contact the church office if you would like to be involved in the following areas:

Hospitality - Ushering for worship on Sunday mornings, being a greeter or working the welcome desk in the Atrium.

The Altar Guild - decorating the sanctuary for holidays, primarily Christmas and Easter and others as needed.  If you have an eye for visual arts you may enjoy working on decorations for the Worship Center

Office Angels - working a few hours weekly in the church office.

Sound Tech - working the sound booth during worship

Volunteer Caretaker - occasional small repair or maintenance projects such as painting or simple repairs.

Armstrong has a long standing tradition of musical excellence.  We have several opportunities to serve the God with your voice or instrument.  All groups are always welcoming new participants!

Chancel Choir - The chancel choir sings during the 9:40 worship hour and is a SATB choir lead by Ben Basone and accompanied by Stacy Haney.  The choir meets on Thursday evenings at 7:30 from September through May.  Soloists and special music are featured during the summer months. Larger works are also performed periodically in a concert setting.

Handbell Choir - Armstrong has five octaves of Schulmerich handbells.  The choir performs in the 9:40 worship hour periodically during the traditional school year. Members are encouraged to read music but it is not required.  Substitute ringers are also appreciated. Contact Doug Belland, Director for more information.

Faith Infusion Praise Band - The 10:00 worship hour features a praise band lead by Matt Boyd. Musicians including singers, keyboardists, drummers and guitarists lead worship on a weekly basis. Contact Matt Boyd if you would like to participate.

Children's Music -  is featured on the Armstrong Kids page.
